The Biotechnology Centre of Azores (CBA) mission is to foster fundamental and applied scientific research to develop new knowledge and technological innovation, creating opportunities and impacting economic growth by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and competitiveness in the agrarian, environmental and bio industrial sectors. Biotechnology due to its multidisciplinary character is a technological key to achieve these aims.
